The King Association provides food for families in need through the Share Food Program. Distribution is held every 3rd Saturday of the month from 9:30 a.m. to 11:30 a.m. while supplies last.
For underserved children from the Philadelphia and surrounding areas. Up to 12,000 children receive items from the events to include food baskets, toys and clothing giveaway.
Annual Awards and Benefit Luncheon -is the largest in the nation and held on the Martin Luther King, Jr. national holiday. National and local civic leaders are honored and awarded with a “Drum Major” Award.
Annual National Bell Ringing Ceremony - held at the Liberty Bell designating the commencement of the national holiday in America and throughout the world in honor of Dr. Martin Luther, Jr.
Nonviolent and Enrichment Program for Middle School and High School youth. Helping them to succeed in High School and beyond.
